Our investor rights law firm is looking for a writer for our legal blog to draft typically two-three blogs on a weekly basis, on legal topics related to investment matters. The blogs feature primarily two types of content: blogs that describe cases currently under investigation, and articles addressing various investment-related topics. The audience is investors and potential victims of investment-related misconduct or fraud.
About Us
We are a law firm that represents investors who lose money because of investment-related fraud or misconduct, such as Ponzi schemes. We are focused primarily on securities litigation and arbitration and have a nationwide practice.
Description of the project
Your main responsibility will be to provide original content for our legal blogs. The number of articles expected per week will typically vary between two-three and rarely more. While the article topic list we’ll send you will be accompanied by sources, you may need to conduct further research. Given the firm’s focus, accuracy is paramount. Lastly, you will be expected to work with keywords, catchy titles, and create search engine optimized content. We will provide training on the blog style and sources. The position is a remote-work, contractor position. You will manage your own schedule.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or coursework towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree, strong writing abilities. Previous experience in online blogging or an educational or professional background in journalism or the law are a plus.
Trial
There will be a two-month trial. We’ll edit the articles you send us during this period, and by the end of the two months we expect the number of edits to drop to near zero.
