Nearly 400K Paid in Settlement to Robert David Investors Since 2020

In July 2020, a customer filed a dispute  alleging inter alia failure to follow instructions with respect to investments made in his managed account. There was no specified amount for the alleged damages and in December 2020, the customer received a settlement to the tune of $60,000, as reported on David’s FINRA Brokercheck page.

One customer filed a dispute in April 2020 alleging inter alia and misrepresentation with respect to corporate bond investments. The customer was seeking $183,000 for the alleged damages and the dispute settled in April 2021 for $85,000.

A customer filed a dispute in March 2020 alleging inter alia and unsuitability with respect to investments. There was no specified amount for the alleged damages and in March 2020, the customer received a $35,000 settlement.

In May 2019, another customer filed a dispute alleging inter alia and unsuitability with respect to investments. The customer was seeking an unspecified amount for the alleged damages and on April 2020 settled for $200,000.

Finally, in May 2019, another customer filed a dispute alleging unauthorized trading and requesting $800,000 in damages. The investment products types involved were reportedly debt-corporate, equity, and mutual fund. As of July 2019 this dispute is reported as “Closed/No Action”.

Robert David Was Registered with FINRA for 12 Years

David joined the securities industry in 2006 and switched employers two times.

Broker Robert David was previously employed with Morgan Stanley located in Farmington Hills, Michigan from June 2009 until April 2019.

David was reportedly discharged from Morgan Stanley in March 2019 on allegations of entering inaccurate client profile information relative to bond-related transactions and concerns that some of those transactions were not confirmed immediately beforehand according to his Brokercheck page.

In addition, David was previously employed with Citigroup Global Markets located in Farmington, Michigan from October 2006 until June 2009.

It is important to note that Robert C. David is registered as an Investment Adviser according to his IAPD report. He has been employed with Advisory Services Network located in Farmington, Michigan since April 2019.
