The investor rights attorneys at Rosca Scarlato LLC, led by veteran investor advocate Alan Rosca, along with their co-counsel in Texas, have been investigating potential investment loss recovery options on behalf of investors who are concerned they may have lost money invested with broker Joe Gamez in First Capital Investment Services or other affiliated entities.
Rosca Scarlato investor lawyers are currently preparing to pursue Gamez customer claims for compensation. Joe Gamez investors interested in evaluation of potential options to seek compensation and/or pursue claims related to their investments with Joe Gamez may contact investor right attorney Alan Rosca or his colleagues. Claims that are not timely pursued may expire or otherwise be lost, generally speaking.
According to a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent (AWC) singed by Joe Gamez on October 17, 2025, he allegedly failed to produce the information or documents requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into whether Gamez used customer funds for personal reasons. As a result, without admitting or denying FINRA’s findings, Gamez consented to being barred from associating with any FINRA member in all capacities.
Joe Gamez’s FINRA BrokerCheck Report under review by attorney Alan Rosca and his colleagues reveal that Gamez was recently discharged by Raymond James. The employment separation disclosure in dated June 25, 2025 indicates that Gamez is “alleged to have used client funds for personal reasons.”
Jose “Joe” Abel Gamez has been a registered broker with Raymond James in San Antonio, TX between April 2017 until late June 2025. Prior to Raymond James, Gamez was employed with LPL Financial, Capital One Investment Services, Chase Investment Services and USAA Investment Management Company.
His FINRA BrokerCheck Report further shows that during his employment at Raymond James, Joe Gamez held an investment related position at Security Service FCU while also working for Security Service Investment Group, both reportedly located in San Antonio, TX.
“Financial industry companies have a duty to monitor their operations and reasonably supervise their associated persons,” said attorney Alan Rosca. When financial industry businesses fail in their duties, they may be held liable to victims of their associated persons, depending on the particular facts specific to each case, attorney Rosca indicated.
Investor rights attorneys Alan Rosca and his colleagues have developed a nationwide practice assisting investors around the country to seek compensation for their losses arising out of broker misconduct, investment fraud, and Ponzi schemes. They and their Texas co-counsel are currently evaluating potential claims for compensation on behalf of any investors who may have suffered losses as a result of investing with former Raymond James broker Joe Abel Gamez.
